A warm welcome from the headteacher

At Reddish Vale Nursery School, we provide stimulating and exciting learning experiences for children aged 2 – 4 years old, which are scaffolded by an experienced and compassionate team. We work hard to make children feel safe and happy, to have aspirations and feel valued through inclusive practice delivered in a caring and well-resourced environment. Children, parents, staff and governors work together in partnership sharing ideas to ensure we continue to reach high expectations and offer the best opportunities for all.

Reddish Vale Nursery School is a very special Nursery. We provide the building blocks for every child to create strong foundations in their learning and development to help them flourish into lifelong learners. Staff follow the children's interests and development stage to create exciting learning experiences using 'In the Moment' planning. Our reactive team respond and enhance the children's learning through questioning and further enhancements to extend their learning.

We have an extensive Outdoor Area for our children to explore, which boasts of a large sand pit, Construction Area, bike track, Mud Kitchen, Water Play Area and much more. Children create imaginative stories by the Storytelling circle, plant flowers and vegetables in our Gardening Area and take risks climbing trees. They learn to independently put on their waterproofs and wellies when going on adventures in our Nature School, where they develop their knowledge on safety within the outdoor space, explore the natural environment and enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate!

We are extremely proud of our Nursery and welcome parents to view our environment first hand. If you have any questions or would like to enquire about a place at our school, please contact our office on 0161 480 6713 or email admin@reddishvalenursery.stockport.sch.uk

Best wishes,
